Jim has been successfully selling real estate in St. John’s, Newfoundland for 29 Years and is known for his energetic, enthusiastic and resourceful real estate practice. Jim is always open to new ideas, challenges and opportunities. He obtained his “FRI”, Fellow of the Real Estate Institute in 1996 from The Real Estate Institute of Canada and the “MVA” Market Value Appraiser – Residential from the Canadian Real Estate Association in 1998. Founder of “The Jim Burton Sales Team” in 1998, he is a past & current facilitator of Real Estate Education & Motivational Courses for Realtors in the St. John’s area.

Jim is President of RE/MAX Infinity Realty Inc., one of Newfoundland & Labrador’s fastest growing Real Estate companies. For numerous years, Team Burton has been among the Top Producing Teams within the RE/MAX organization placing in the Top Ten in Canada & Top Twenty Worldwide.

Jim holds an Airline Transport Pilots License with 15,000 flight hours & owns and operates a seasonal Airline, North Eastern Sky Services Ltd. with his 1951 Dehavilland Beaver Floatplane in Labrador. He also owns and operates Igloo Lake Lodge Ltd., one of Newfoundland & Labrador’s trophy Brook Trout / Northern Pike fly fishing Lodges.
